ATEK Products Announces New Larco Touchless Sensing Solution-UWAV
Brainerd, Minn. – March 7, 2008 – Larco Manufacturing, the leading U.S. supplier of Automatic Door Mats and Handicap Wall Switches, today announced a new touch free sensing switch called the U-WAV™.
The U-WAV is an innovative sensor switch designed for touchless activation of automatic doors, lighting controls, or call points. It is ideal for sterile environments such as operating rooms or clean rooms because it provides a complete hygienic solution. Made using tough ABS plastic and advanced circuitry, the U-WAV provides reliable operation and is easily installed. It features an adjustable hold time of .5 to 10 seconds and has a detection range of 4 to 20 inches. In addition, the U-WAV can operate in two modes of operation, switch or sense, for additional functionality.
It also has a universal wall plate design that fits most North American and European standard box sizes, and is CE and FCC approved.
